Womens Whitewater Kayaking Class

Grab your skirts ladies, because 4CRS paddle school now offers a womens specific kayaking course! This full-day Saturday course is designed for female paddlers, and will be taught exclusively by female instructors.

This introductory level class is designed to teach beginner and intermediate female paddlers the fundamentals of whitewater kayaking and river safety. We will learn the skills and techniques necessary to boost your confidence on the water!

We will cover the basics of how to properly select and care for whitewater gear, reading rivers, paddling fundamentals, and rolling. We will utilize our solar heated pool to learn essential whitewater skills like the wet exit, T- rescue, strokes, and the roll.

From there, we will paddle down river through some fun class II whitewater. We will hone river maneuvering techniques like peel outs, eddy turns and ferries. By the end of this course, we hope to have participants feeling much more comfortable on moving water.

• Prerequisites: Female paddlers only
• Included: All equipment, instructors, transportation, and lunch.
