One-of-the-world’s-best-freesurfers Ian Crane at it with the California Twin Pin
The California Twin Pin was born as a natural extension of thefamous California Twin.
An all new designthat you can now enjoy thanksto the collaboration betweenthe legendary, 4x World Champion surfer/shaper, Mark Richards and @LostSurfboards, Matt Mayhem Biolos.
Why would they start this adventure is no secret. It was due to multiple requests that they started to receive asking for customization that were looking for greater performance and confidence in a wider range of waves. So, thank you Pros, aging Bros and rest of surfers that brought the feedback to start this adventure.

The result? As they say, “asouped up and slightly sleeked out, all-around performance vehicle, with stock dims designed to be ridden 1-2 longer than the original.” Let’s remind you that the California twin became so popular because of itswinged swallow tail, wide forward outline, low entry rocker and deep single to double concave bottom.
So, even though the California Twin Pin is a new design, is more of a bridge-gapbetween squatty/speedy fish and a proper performance shortboard, more that a step up, but equally at home in punchy, stomach-high shories or running overhead reef passes and point breaks.
The changes made to the popular California Twin to start glimpsing the California Twin Pin were to fill that in between gap and this is how it was done.
You got here aa fast, forgiving and precise board due to this changes. Further more, its continuous curve outline expands on the range of functionality of the original California.
There is one thing that remained the same and that’s theiconic MRTwin+trailer fin layout, design and positioning, nor the wicked fast and fun, single todoubleconcave bottom curves.
