We’ve sold replacement Shurflo aerator pump motor cartridges for close to at decade, allowing Malibu and Axis owners to get a defective ballast pump back up and running quickly so they can have fun on the water. But the solution that existed previously required the wiring connection to be made manually, which at best is an inconvenience, and for many customers, was a complete deal breaker.

That’s why we’re so excited to introduce our direct replacement Shurflo 800 & 1100GPH ballast pump motor cartridges, which are fully plug-and-play on any 2007 and later Malibu, or 2009 and later Axis boat. Featuring a sealed Amphenol wiring connector that matches the unit used on the factory wiring harness, there’s zero wiring to mess with, simply unplug and remove the defective motor cartridge, install our replacement in its place and reconnect the wiring. In less than a few minutes you’re back up and running with no soldering, crimping or struggle.
