The 2020 Slingshot Gnarwhal XR Wakesurf Board returns for another year of high performance surfing. Starting with their already popular Gnarwhal Wakesurf Board, Slingshot further elevates the boards performance with their XR Series construction. That XR Construction means a full carbon matrix overlay which makes the board stiffer and more reactive, and also gives it a distinctive look over the standard version of the Gnarwhal.

A true surfer’s shape, the Slingshot Gnarwhal is a go-to option for those seeking a pure surf style board. Its wide tail shape feeds off the wave and harnesses that energy into serious speed. This makes it easier for surfers to catch the wave, stay in it, and even go big on some airs. Rides great on big waves but also thrives on smaller waves thanks to the impressive “push”.

A fast rocker line helps increase the speed and along with a double concave hull and dual cupped rail channels, the Gnarwhal has plenty of grip when digging deep into a turn. Add in a flat snubbed nose that prevents burying the rail when turning off the lip down the trough and you have a board that inspires plenty of confidence while still being ready to rock.

Equipped with the tool-less FCSII system, which makes changing the fin configuration, or removing the fins when you get out of the water to protect the board and the boat quick and easy.
