Collaboratively designed by Alpacka Raft and Immersion Research, theImmersion Research Sixmile Packraft Sprayskirt offers advanced bungee-style technology. Designed specifically for Alpacka Rafts the Sixmile is perfect for class 3-4+ paddlers, while also being an ideal investment for those beginning their journey into class 2-3 whitewater. The skirt features a neoprene tunnel, hybrid TPU-coated nylon deck, durable neoprene casing, and high-tension bungee. The tension of the bungee provides implosion resistance, while the specialized neoprene casing makes it easy to secure the skirt onto the rim of the packraft. To prevent the flex of the packraft rim in whitewater, the casing is lined with super sticky silicone strips, ensuring the skirt stays in place. Additional 1.5mm neoprene side deck panels offer stretch, comfort and help keep your knees cool on hot days. The Six mile spray skirt comes in multiple tunnel sizes for a variety of paddler sizes

Important Removal Note:Removing the skirt in a controlled exit is a bit different, so pleasewatch Alpacka’s tutorial on wet exits vs. controlled exits. Removing by grabbing the neoprene corner from the side will save your coaming in the long run during controlled exits. Wet exits are easy either by grabbing the handle or just pushing away from the sides of the boat with your hands.

*These skirts will ONLY work with 2017 and newer Alpacka brand pack rafts. They will NOT work with any other brand of pack raft or on a traditional whitewater kayak.*
