This trailer fin is a riff off of our Greenough inspired PT-1 trailer. Dan Malloy came to us with a proposed concept of reducing the overall height of the original design and making a shorter stubbier version. Dan drew inspiration from riding his performance twin + trailer, but he wasn’t exactly jiving with either a full size trailer or any of the smaller nubs. The goal was to find a happy medium, where you can really push the tail of the board through turns and benefit fully from the thruster style setup, but still have little enough area that you can get lively and blow the tail. This fin has been in the hands of some of our favorite surfers the last few months, and the feedback has been very positive all around. If you’re looking to spice up your twinnie or even your thruster for that matter, give the Rabbit’s Tail a whirl!
